Facebook selects London as WhatsApp Payment Center

A recent report revealed that Facebook has chosen London as the base for the global launch of digital payments service on the platform of instant messaging Watts Abp, according to a report in the Financial Times, "Watts Ab will employ nearly 100 people in London to focus on the payment service and digital staff will be recruited Two additional operations in Dublin.


According to the Indian TOI website, Watts Ab has 1.5 billion active users per month worldwide, while the report revealed that new high-tech engineering personnel will create a payment feature as well as products that focus on safety and spam that will alarm users within the application.
"Wattspap is truly a global service and these teams will help us to make Wattspash payments and other great features for our users everywhere," Matthew Matthews, Chief Operating Officer of Wattsp, was quoted as saying. 400 employees worldwide, and Mark Zuckerberg, chief executive of Facebook, announced on April 24 that the company is actively working to launch Wattsp payments in many countries around the world, including India.
"We have a test being run in India to implement WTSAP now, and we hope to launch it in several other countries at some point, but I do not want to put a time frame here, but that's something we're actively involved in," Zuckerberg said
