Watsab is currently testing animated posters, just like those used in the Facebook Messenger application, a news report said.
The 9to5google technical website said Friday that the trial version of the application for Android phones contained mobile stickers.
Watsab had tested these posters in the past, but stopped developing them.
Although animated GIFs are animated, they do not automatically work and should be handled like the rest of the files, which you have to click to play.
The new animated icons will be activated as soon as they are received by users and will automatically work on phones and computers where posters can be sent.
It is not clear when the official release of this new feature will be made, but the technical site expects to come soon because it is small and light.
